Ivar Smedstad
Ivar Smedstad (NO) has been working with video art and electronic media since the early 1980s. He studied Fine Arts at the San Francisco Art Institute and received his degree in performance/video in 1988. Smedstad has worked with the distribution and preservation of video art at Electronic Arts Intermix in New York and as a fellow and lecturer at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. He was associate professor and institute chair at the Trondheim Academy of Fine Arts and is currently director of Atelier Nord, a media arts organisation in Oslo. www.pixelpunx.com
